After 4 to 5 months, the plant will begin to produce its first flowers. The flowers bloom in white clusters, so this is the time when the raspberry plant attracts the most bees and butterflies to collect nectar. When the flowers fade, the fruit will form. Raspberries grow in clusters and a cluster usually has a lot of fruit. From the time the fruit is tiny until it ripens, it takes about 20 days. The young fruits are often quite dark and old, not beautiful, but over time they will "transform" spectacularly, becoming more shiny and eye-catching.
