Soak the seeds in warm water for about 2-3 hours, remove and cover with a damp paper towel. When the pumpkin seeds sprout white, sow in pots of soil or seedling trays.
Look for seeds that have germinated to a depth of 0.3-0.5 cm. When the plants are 7-10 cm tall, the stems are strong, and have 3-5 large cotyledon leaves, transplant the plants into larger pots for planting.
When the seedlings have 3 - 4 leaves and the stems are thick and sturdy, you can take each plant and plant it separately in pots, styrofoam boxes, large plastic buckets, or you can plant them directly in the ground or plant them.
